1. Right of Access (Article 15)

You have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and, if so, to access that data along with information about how it's being used.

How to exercise: Email privacy@rubywhirl.games with your request. We will provide a copy of your data within one month.

2. Right to Rectification (Article 16)

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected and incomplete data completed.

How to exercise: Contact us at privacy@rubywhirl.games with details of the correction needed.

3. Right to Erasure (Article 17)

Also known as the "right to be forgotten," you can request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances:

  • The data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
  • You withdraw consent (where processing was based on consent)
  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
  • The data has been unlawfully processed
  • Erasure is required to comply with a legal obligation

How to exercise: Email privacy@rubywhirl.games with your erasure request. We will assess and respond within one month.

4. Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)

You can request that we restrict processing of your data in certain situations:

  • You contest the accuracy of the data (restriction during verification)
  • Processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction over erasure
  • We no longer need the data but you need it for legal claims
  • You have objected to processing (pending verification of our legitimate grounds)

How to exercise: Contact privacy@rubywhirl.games explaining why you request restriction.

5. Right to Data Portability (Article 20)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller, where:

  • Processing is based on consent or contract
  • Processing is carried out by automated means

How to exercise: Request your data via privacy@rubywhirl.games. We will provide it in JSON or CSV format.

6. Right to Object (Article 21)

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.

Note: RubyWhirl does not engage in direct marketing. If we process your data based on legitimate interests, you can object, and we will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

How to exercise: Email privacy@rubywhirl.games with your objection.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent (Article 7(3))

Where we process your data based on consent (e.g., cookies), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

How to exercise: For cookies, adjust your browser settings or use our cookie banner. For other consent-based processing, email privacy@rubywhirl.games.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have violated your data protection rights.
